Project Life 2013: Week 19

Another week finished, and I’m starting to love this project even more than I thought possible!

Week-19This week was week 19. It involved making bruschetta for the first time, text message recipes from Bec, sanding some stars to make coasters with, awesome work lunches, knitting more of my blanket, and a trip to Bathurst to watch my cousin perform in the Wizard of Oz.

Week-19-LeftThis week I had very few photos, and the ones I did have were mostly phone photos, so not all of them are necessarily the best pictures, but I do love the end result of this week! I chose a simple blue, black and white colour scheme, and the spread came together super easily. In total, it only took me a little over an hour, and that was with going back and tweaking some older spreads, too!

Week-19-RightI’m loving the layout I use (design A) with the title card on the top left, and quote card in the first 3×4 pocket on the right. These are the 2 things that have been consistent throughout all of my pages. I’m also in love with the week in review cards now that I’ve started using them. I’ve made them both 4×6 and 3×4 over the last few spreads, and the more I use them, the more hooked I am on them! They’re such a quick, easy way to include lots of journalling, and they look great and don’t clutter up the whole spread with text! I think one of my favourite things from the last few spreads, though, is the number of photos I’m using, and the fact that they are all larger in size (4×6) instead of lots of little ones.

Supplies used: Design A digital templateSeafoam full digital kit (with some elements recoloured), Week in Review cards by Cathy Zielski and quote cards from Elise Blaha. Fonts are Bebas and Travelling Typewriter, which are both free downloads. • Thank you! And yep, it really was that quick!! I’m surprised it was though… All the other pages took 2-3 hours each! To be fair, I do have my photos in folders by week and planning pages done for each week in advance, so it does make it a little less time consuming 🙂
