Project Life 2013: Week 18

I’ve now caught up week 18 of this project, and I’m loving it now more than ever!

Week-18

I feel like I’m really starting to get into a groove, and pages are starting to come together much quicker. I’m using more photos, and while I love including lots of journalling, I’ve found a way to balance it a lot more, and I’m loving how it’s turning out so far!

Week-18-Left

Week 18 was the end of April to the start of May. This was the week I made home-made burgers, celebrated my sister’s 20th birthday, signed off on our contract to build, visited our block of land, made more house decisions, and completed the Color Run. We also had an awesome sunset and made some not so awesome cocktails.

Week-18-Right

This spread was pretty easy to put together, and I had fun making my own journalling card for my sister’s birthday from a Studio Calico brush set. The page was completed in 2 sittings, which has become standard for me now. I tend to do the photos and journalling cards one night, then come back and do all the text the next day. I find it flows a bit better then too. I’m trying to do 2-3 spreads a week at the moment to catch up, and I’m loving how much move quickly they all come together because of it!
