Project Life 2013: Week 16

This spread was an interesting one to make. I took a completely different approach to it, and I love the end result!

Week-16

I had limited photos to use this week, but decided that I would use them as full size photos for each of the spaces for something different. Except for the one from my brother-in-laws birthday, which has 2×2 inch photos instead. I also purchased Cathy Zielski’s Week in Review templates to change it up. I spent the week mostly watching Criminal Minds and knitting, so there wasn’t a lot I had to journal about.

Week-16-Left

I definitely found it interesting using less text and more photos, and I think I will do this a lot more going forward as well. I had no problems with a colour scheme this week, and just went with what was opened. I didn’t really change any colours on journalling cards this week, and didn’t add any extra embellishments. I’m finally starting to get into a groove with how I put my pages together, and I’m looking at sharing shortly, since it’s reduced the time my pages take to make significantly.

Week-16-Right

I’m also going to stick to a simple grey background going forward too. I like the consistency it gives. And I’m still loving the title cards which is good after how much I’ve tweaked them over the last 16 weeks of spreads! Another week in the bag, and I’m quite happy about it!
