Another week caught up, although I’m still plenty far behind! This week took me awhile to work on, since I ended up spreading it over 3 sessions. I’ve never done that before, I just didn’t feel all that motivated to work on it. Part of the reason being that I didn’t have many photos this week. I think this is the lowest number of photos I’ve taken in any one week so far this year! This week documents new Project Life kits, finishing my traineeship at work, card and invitation making, my obsession with Pretty Little Liars, roses from Michael, a work lunch in the city, a “meet the families” get together with mine and Michael’s families, my latest love affair with eating stuffed capsicums, my latest book, and Michael going to Victoria on Sunday. Since I wasn’t in love with any particular combination of Seafoam colours for this spread, I decided I’d experiment with mostly neutrals and pops of orange. I think it turned out ok enough, but I’m again, it’s not up there on my list of favourite layouts. I do have lots of text to make up for the lack of photos though, and somehow still don’t end up with any filler cards! I also experimented with custom text paths on the last photo. It’s kind of what I want, but I’m not quite sure how to get the full curves yet, but didn’t want to spend any more time working it out tonight. I figure I’ll probably redo the text when I print the page. It was fun to play around with, but I’m a little over this spread! On a more positive note, I’ve caught up my planning sheets, and I’ve sorted the next months worth of photos ready for my spreads, so I should be able to crank the next few spreads out pretty easily! ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
