Project Life 2013: Week 14

Woo hoo! I now have week 14 of my Project Life finished! I’ve been cranking them out while Michael is away… I figure I might as well make the most of this uninterrupted guy-free time!Week-14This week documents Easter Monday, which was a public holiday here, where we went to the Blackbutt Wildlife Park, along with making chocolate spiders, getting a bike, my April goals, stamp organisation, settling on our block of land, more house ideas, checking out our soon-to-be local shopping centre, and one of our favourite recipes (chilli con carne).

Week-14-LeftI have noticed that I manage to use quite a few photos each week… This spread has 22 different ones. I’m starting to really get into the swing of things with my pages… This one only took me about 2 hours or so to do, and that was with taking a couple of filler photos, organising photos by week for the whole of April, and all the journalling. I think it’s interesting to see how my routine develops as the weeks go by!

Week-14-RightI have to say, I still love this project, and love that so far, I’ve documented the first 1/4 of the year! It’s exciting! I don’t know that I’ve ever stuck to a project for so long!! Even though I’m still behind, I have been slowly catching up, which makes me happy! I always think it’s interesting when I hear that some people struggle with what to document each week and they can’t manage to fill a full 2 page spread, but even being kid-and-pet-free, I have never really had a problem with filling the spreads. If anything, I have more than enough to fill a spread and have to cut things out most weeks!

    • Thank you, Martina! I think it’s well worth trying it, even if you only do fortnightly or monthly spreads… I record so much more than I used to now that I’ve started doing this project, and it’s so fun!
