Enjoying: All the day trips we’ve been on… Thai cooking class, white water rafting, elephant rides, island tours, temple visits and more
Looking: Forward to sleeping in my own bed rather than on a mattress that is rock solid!
Feeling: Bitter sweet that we’ll be leaving in a days time. I’ll be glad to be back to everyday life right in time for birthday celebrations, but also sad about leaving this place when there is still so much to see and do!
Reading: The Style your Space E-Course. I brought this to read and enjoy during down time on the trip for ideas and inspiration for decorating the new place. I so want to make a hammock now!
Loving: How friendly all of the locals here are, even though they don’t usually speak very good English. It’s much less pushy that in Bali, and everyone here loves chatting to Aussies!
Hoping: To be able to sleep on the flight home. We leave Thailand at 7.10pm, but don’t get back into Sydney until 10.45am the next day after a stop over in Kuala Lumpur. It’s going to be a long flight!
Wanting: To open the Lonely Planets Travel Photography book that I brought here, but not wanting to unwrap it until I get home. This will make an awesome coffee table book that I’ll look at on many occasions, I think!
Planning: On making a photo book of trip photos shortly after getting home. For this trip, and also New Zealand. I’m excited to get started on both, and even more excited to see the end results!
Failing: At filling in journalling cards while travelling. Still love the idea of them, but this trip it was much easier emailing my thoughts and observations back to Michael each evening
Needing: To have a Thai food week at home now that I realise just how easy Thai food can be to cook!
